Creating a natural look bathroom, using natural materials has become a popular trend, with real stone tiles becoming a popular choice, along with stone effect trays. When it comes to the enclosure itself, clearly a wooden or stone unit is not possible, but a traditional enclosure can still blend seamlessly with a natural looking bathroom.
We’ve taken one of our affordable enclosures and teamed it with some natural accessories and colours to create this stunning natural bathroom, which won’t break the bank.

Here’s how we did it…
We picked out some natural coloured stone effect tiles as a base. The warm soft colours would really help create the natural bathroom finish.
As we were planning on to including lots of accessories, we kept the sanitryware simple and just included a discreet wall hung basin by Roca.
For the accessories, we chose a range of bamboo bathroom items, available from Roman at Home, to really create that natural bathroom finish. Bamboo is a material which is well suited to the damp bathroom environment and all our Roman at Home Bamboo items are perfect for those with their eye on the environment, as it is a sustainable resource.
To give plenty of storage we included the Bamboo Bathroom Storage Unit and the Three Tier Bamboo Caddy. The unit is the perfect place to store your towels, whilst the caddy is ideal for smaller items such as shower gels and other toiletries.
To complete the look we added the Bamboo Wooden Duckboard and Bamboo Mirror over the sink. These are not only practical, but like the Bamboo Storage Unit, they also look fantastic.
These bamboo items helped to achieve the natural look, but of course there are other practical items to include. Towels are clearly an important bathroom item, and Roman at Home’s Egyptian Cotton Towels are made from 100% Egyptian Cotton, making them another natural addition for the bathroom. We picked the Latte colour as this would complement the tiles and bamboo accessories.
Storage within you shower is also important and as a wooden shower basket is not very practical, we opted for one of our own Chrome Corner Baskets. To give ample storage, we went for the double basket with hooks and hung one of our Roman at Home Olive Wood Body Brushes from the hooks, to add a natural finish.
Finally, to keep the bathroom smelling fresh and to add a spa-like feel, we added some home fragrances including a diffuser and some candles.
