Decem Expressions – printed glass technology

We have recently launched our brand new printed glass technology on wetroom panels – Decem Expressions.

We have initially launched it in three different design options – Distressed Brick, Glass Blocks and a Rainforest Image.

These three initial designs are on ‘trend’ and aimed for the higher end of the interior design led retail bathroom market and the process lends itself perfectly for the Project market. Our printed glass technology means that designers can now easily link up other design themes through a Project directly onto a larger and visible position within the bathroom via the glass and there are no restrictions on colour or resolution.

Decem Expressions is a significant innovation in glass printing technology and it is an exclusive technology to Roman. This breakthrough in printed glass technology has been achieved by the collaboration of technologies with digital print specialists Dimax.

The height of the Decem Expressions wetroom panels is 2000mm and the glass thickness is 10mm. They are suitable for installation on to tray or wetroom floor and there is 15mm of adjustment in each minimal wall profile for easy installation.

Our printed glass technology is different to all current printed glass technology as it allows any images to be printed directly on to the glass, whilst all other areas if the glass remain transparent and crystal clear. The colours are printed onto the glass; this is done with a specific thermos procedure.

Our unique digital printing process also provides the option of a Satinato finish, which was not digitally possible before. Most importantly this new digital glass printing is both water resistant and protected against abrasion, which makes it ideal to use in the bathroom.

You can add an optional ‘L’ shaped return panel on to the wetroom panel to increase water integrity by directing the water back into the showering area.

It has just been announced that our Decem Expressions has been shortlisted in the KBB Awards for Bathroom Product Innovation of the Year. The awards ceremony takes place on the 7th March 2016 during the KBB Exhibition, which we are also exhibiting at and you will find us on stand A55.
