All of our products are designed and created specifically for the UK showering market, so we can tailor our products to the specific needs of UK bathrooms. Roman are extremely proud to be British manufacturers of showering products and we ensure that we offer the ultimate in quality, precision and British craftsmanship.

All of our manufacturing processes are carried out at our Manufacturing Plant and Headquarters in Newton Aycliffe. We are home to the UK’s largest shower manufacturing plant.

We have been proud British designers and manufacturers of showering products since we were founded in 1985. We show the Made in Britain marque proudly on our products, product packaging, websites, social media, marketing materials, literature and point of sale merchandising.

The new Made in Britain marque was launched in January last year and we were one of the very first companies to join the campaign and use the marque to proudly draw attention to our British made products.

Roman strongly supports the Made in Britain campaign as they are actively raising the awareness of British manufacturing both here in the UK and abroad. In order to have the right to use the marque, membership is needed and the scheme needs all companies to submit written evidence that they manufacture their products in the UK. We hold all the necessary requirements as we are a reputable and well established UK Brand.

Being part of the Made in Britain Campaign is extremely important to Roman as British manufactured products are growing in popularity due to their trusted quality, specific sizes and tailor made products to the UK market and the excellence of our sales and customer service teams.

People are starting to move away from buying unreliable imports and favouring British made products. Increasing support is being shown to British manufacturers as customers are recognising the importance of investing in high quality showering products for their bathroom.

We see it as a huge advantage to support the Made in Britain campaign and use the marque to market our products as a proud UK Brand, as it is clearly a key differential of Romans, as more and more people are seeing it as a mark of quality.
