The products included are all part of the BMA’s Water Label Scheme and will help reduce the family’s energy bills, by using less heated water in the bathroom.
The programme is due to air this Thursday 3rd January on BBC 1 at 9pm.
The Show – DIYSOS
We have helped out transforming the home of a single mother of three boys, who has taken on the upbringing of the five orphaned children of her best friend. The family live in a four bed house, which simply doesn’t have enough room for all the children and there is only one main bathroom for the family to share.
We provided products to transform the existing bathroom, as well as providing items to create a brand new en-suite and a new shower room with a range of different Roman products:
Roman Shopping list:
Our Orbital Bi-fold Door is the perfect solution for when space is at a premium. It is inward opening to avoid bathroom furniture and is available in 760mm width fittings, to fit into even the smallest space.
2 x Orbital Side Panel (760mm & 900mm)
The Orbital Bi-fold Doors were set to go into corner spaces, so we provided side panels to suit the available space. In the really small shower room, the dimensions of the shower enclosure were a small 760mm to fit neatly into the awkward space.
The team added an additional showering facility by including a shower positioned over the bath in the main family bathroom. Our Orbital Folding Bath Screen offers a stylish over bath solution that is power shower approved.
Roman’s range of valves are all part of the BMA’s Water Label scheme and as such, the Big Build team had free reign to choose any style they liked. The choose the RVE007 as this offers a designer drench head, but with a height adjustable hand shower, it is perfect for the family home, where they are all different heights.
2 x Roman Low Level Acrylic Capped Stone Shower Trays
(in 760 x 1200m & 760 x 760mm)
They selected our Acrylic Capped Stone Shower Trays as these are ideal for use with our Orbital BI-fold Door. They installed these with riser panel kits.
To see the completed bathrooms, tune in to BBC 1 at 9pm on Thursday 3rd January.
