Roman have held their biannual sales conference to train their sales team on their new collection of products and update them on the company’s news and performance.
All of Roman’s Sales Team came together at their headquarters this week to receive training on new products and to update the team on their progress. Roman is based in Newton Aycliffe on one of the fastest expanding business parks in the north east. Roman’s Sales Team travelled from all ends of the country – both Retail and Contract Managers.
Roman’s sales conference was held over two days, which included presentations from all departments in Roman, to ensure the sales team were up to date with the company’s latest news; statistics; and performance. Each of the retail and contract sales managers gave a presentation on their performance over the past 6 months, and were given targets and criteria to work towards.
The first afternoon consisted of the team going to the showroom to have in depth product training for the new Liber8 Collection and the new additions to their Lumin8 Range. Product training is at the top of Roman’s list; this is why all our sales team receive detailed training, which they can then pass on to our retailers.
Mike Spink, Roman’s Group Sales Director, commented: “We hold our sales conference every six months and we find it is an extremely useful event for both us and the external sales team. It is hugely important that they receive full product training on all our products and it gives the team the opportunity to discuss the current market and the company’s performance. We have regular meetings individually but coming together as a group is great for encouragement, motivation and sharing ideas with the whole team.”
