Roman are always big supporters of National Apprenticeship Week, which is from 14 – 18th March 2017.
The aim of National Apprenticeship Week is to increase awareness and the take up of apprenticeships, which Roman fully supports.
We are always keen to raise awareness for National Apprenticeship Week and get involved where we can, as we have always found apprentices a great asset to our company and fully support young people going into apprenticeships.
We have had an ongoing student apprenticeship scheme running now for 20 years, so we are very clear about the advantages and benefits that apprentices bring to the company. Apprenticeships make a great foundation for someone to go on to a successful career in industry and we have many examples of this in Roman. Such as our Production Manager, who started as an apprentice at Roman at the age of 17 and he now manages a team of over 60 people.
Apprenticeships have a positive impact on individuals, businesses and the wider economy and Roman want to continue with their involvement in this, by taking on new apprentices when opportunities arise.
